Marketing to the DOD

This presentation will concentrate on How to do Business with the Department of Defense and its BIG 6 PLUS the 4th estate! Why DoD? (1) Because it has the largest amount of the federal procurement funding ever ! (2) DoD is currently 40% short of its goal in the SB DIB (Defense Industrial Based -SB's with active DoD contracts in the last 24 months). Because DoD has larger Past Performance requirements in their $ thresholds, subcontracting with DoD Primes is the pathway to becoming a DIB in 2024 and beyond. In addition, there are 13 Agencies that support a funded Mentor/Protege program. The second part of this presentation will concentrate on the DoD's Mentor / Protege program and an overview of how a Small Business (SB) can "opt in".
