The New Mexico District Office will launch its 3rd cohort for the Ascent Training Program this fall to help women-owned business owners grow their small business.
The Ascent Training Program is the first of its kind, no-cost program that combines six weeks of online self-guided learning using the SBA Ascent platform, as well as six group virtual sessions. During the virtual sessions, participants will learn more about business-related topics through what is called educational “Journeys.” Participants will network and grow with other women entrepreneurs from New Mexico as they are taught each week by subject matter experts in leadership, marketing, finance, HR, capital access, and contracting.
To be eligible for this program, applicants must:
Be a women-owned small business located in New Mexico
Be a start-up or have been in business less than 5 years
Have average revenues of less than $50,000
Interested participants can learn more about this program by attending one of the six upcoming virtual information sessions.
